Discipleship
We exist to make disciples who make disciples, multiplying rather than simply gathering (Matthew 28:18–20). This happens primarily through Disciple Making Groups, where believers walk alongside one another, grow in Christlikeness, and are equipped to pass what they've learned on to others (Ephesians 4:11–16; 2 Timothy 2:2). We measure faithfulness not by attendance, but by whether disciples are being made.

The Grove began in the fall of 2013, when three families gathered simply to study the Bible and encourage one another in the Lord. The group steadily grew, and as Easter 2014 approached, a special gathering at Dahlia's Cafe drew more than three times their normal number, it was clear God was laying the foundation for a new church. In the fall of 2014, The Grove Church officially launched with a simple mission: to make disciples.
From 2015 to 2018, Fellowship Church opened the doors of a little white chapel to us. From 2018 to 2022, Liberty Hill ISD welcomed us into a middle school through the COVID years. In March 2022, Santa Rita Ranch donated 7 acres, and 50 families purchased 3 more, allowing us to complete our first building. In 2023, we purchased 3 additional acres, and in 2024, Grace Covenant Church generously purchased 3 more acres for us, providing critical road access, with no prior relationship or conditions attached.
By 2025, we had purchased 4 more acres and a house, bringing our total to 20 acres, moved our adult gatherings into a large clear-span structure, and developed The Green. In early 2026, we broke ground on Phase 2: a three-story building dedicated to kids and student ministries. Through every building and every season, what we celebrate above all is not the land or the buildings, it's the disciples being made and the many faithful disciplers God has raised up. This story, from beginning to end, belongs to God.
